Living in another state at the time of my child's birth, Bio dad never had anything to do with child. Had maybe seen his child 24 hours altogether! Father was never put on the birth certificate, and I never accepted any money from him or went after any type of support. Got married when child was almost 2, told bio dad I was moving after I got married so that he couldn't say I never told him! Have been married going on 4 years and my husband and I would like for our child to have our last name. Child does not have bio dad's last name. Mom gave child her madian name. Child thinks as though step dad as bio dad. That's fineby us until child is old enough to understand and be told! Not alot of money to get this started or do I know were to begin! Help
