Can anyone tell me how to reverse a stepparent adoption
I am wanting to reverse my adoption to my stepfather my mom made a big mistake by letting this creep adopt me now I want to reverse it can it be done??

Adoptions, step parent or not, can not be 'reversed' - however, if you are able to find another able bodied adult who would do it, you could elect to do an adult adoption.
This would make the new person your 'parent'. Consent is not required.

So can I get my records opened just like other adopted person? Is stepparent adoptions the same as both parent adoptions?

I'm going through this process right now (trying to open my records...i was adopted by my stepdad too) and its so impossible dealing with the "lovely people" at the probate court....
seriously its like they don't even know what i'm talking about....7 calls, 1 notarized letter to get my records...they said i'd have then in a week....that was 12 weeks ago.
