DH wants to adopt DD
my dh and i met when my dd was 4 mo old. Her sperm donor(i like to call him) has never had any contact with her. Hes not even on her birth cert. . i know were suppose to notify the parent but what if i told the court i didnt know who he was could we bypass all the taking out ads and other stuff.

Well you would take the risk of the BF finding out and actually wanting a relationship with your DD. He could take you to court and prove that you knew he was the father but never contacted him. That and of course...perjury.
The publication and military search isn't that bad. I started to before I was able to track the BF down and it was just paperwork and didn't cost more than $100 if you do it yourself. Better safe than sorry...
