My husband of 20 years would like to adopt my adult daughter, just for legal purposes. We live in TX, can this be done and how?

Yes, an adult adoption can be done in Texas, contact the County Clerk (and hopefully, they are nice
) to find out what forms your county requires for adoption. http://www.adopting.org/adoptions/ad...tate-laws.html You can read more about the law in Texas there ![]() Nancy also writes about Adult Adoption on her blog, here: http://www.adoptionblogs.com/index.p...9/p189#more189
