The bio. "father" relinquished his rights years ago. Do you have the forms just for the stepparent adopting? What county are you in? We're in Comal County. Did you have to have a home study? Is there more than one form needed to file? Sorry about all the questions, we're still trying to get accurate information on how to do this ourselves. Thanks for your time and help.

Hi chick,
Of course you DON'T need a lawyer. It can be done Pro Se, (youself)

Sorry, I don't have time now, but please write at gusana_69@hotmail.com with some of your information like
where are you, "state"?
How old are the children?
How long have the children lived with your husband and you?
Do you have the Father Affidavit of Voluntary Relinquishment Rights, or a Court order giving you the sole custody and care of the children? In case that you don't have either one would the father available to sing the father's affidavit?

Please write on top of your massage your mane and State for me to know who is. I Have some other mami that I'm trying to help to.

Lloana

PS: I have been having some problems with my computer at home, I'm using the library's computer to check my E-mail. I'll answer ASAP.
