This may be a strange question, but Im not sure who to ask about it...Ill give a little background...

Back in 2000 I was in college & went to a different state for fall break with a bunch of girl friends -- to make a long story short ... we met a group of guys out on the town one night & well, I had a one night stand. Never knew more than this guys' first name -- dont know where we is originally from, last names, etc ... and have no contact with him since that night. About a month or two later I come to find out Im pregnant (did not sleep with anyone a couple months before this guy - just broke up with long term SO about 3 months before & had not slept with anyone after & then found out pregnant so I know 100% my dd came from this one night stand).

In 2001 I had my dd ... the most amazing gift in my life ...

I had a great guy friend that I was friends with way before I found out I was pregnant & through out my pregnancy -- we grew closer as time went on through the pregnancy & decided to be together as a couple right before dd was born. We got engaged summer 2003 and married this past spring. Needless to say DD knows him as Daddy & in DH's heart & soul that is his little girl. He's an amazing father

I gave DD my last name b/c DH were not married at the time and also no fathers info is on her borth certificate. I wanted to know how to go about having DH adopt her or whatever we need to do -- does anyone know???
