representing self! HELP!!!
I am in the process of having my daughter adopted by my current husband. I live in Texas. I had termination of parental rights and adoption affidavit drawn up, which he signed. I then filed them and paid for a home study investigation, along with the filing fees. Does anyone know the next thing i need to do. I am having a hard time getting information on the next step. I know just because I filed those papers, termination has NOT been granted....is that correct? Can anyone please help me with the process of this, and if it is crazy for me to think I can do this w/o an attorney....thank you very much...

I know there is a free legal advice line the first and second Wednesdays of every month so you could ask an attorney for free. I will look up the number and post it.

I went to the Law Library and researched about 4 hours and copyed some forms I THOUGHT I might need, but I don't know if their correct. There were so many to choose from
