Please help!!
I am married and have a 13 year old son from a previous relationship. Me and his father were never married. He has to pay child support. But has never asked for visitation. I was told some years ago- I did not have to allow visitation until he asked for his rights thru court. Now I am married and my husband wants to adopt my son. Do i still have to get his BF rights terminated? How hard is this to do? He has contacted my son maybe 2 times in the last year and previous years about the same. If anyone has any advice please let me know.
