Is there any way that my husband can our adopt my daughter w/o her bf's permission?
I was wondering if there is any way my husband can adopt my daughter without her birth fathers permission? He does not visit or call her or pay child support. He has also taken the earned income credit from us this year and last year. He has also physically and emotionally abused us both in the past. Is there any way we can get my husband to adopt her w/o his permission? I know he will put a fight just to spite us and because he wants me back. Please help me. Alicia Moser

You woul need to check with an attorney. His parental rights would need to be terminated first, then your husband could adopt your child.
