iowa step parent adoption advice?
My ex-husband wants to give up custody of our daughter to get out of child support my fiance(we will be married feb. 14,04) wishes to adopt her is there a simple paper work process with out retaining a lawyer? i would greatly appriciate any info or advice

I would contact your local courthouse or social services and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
