My husband and I are trying to have my sons biological fathers parental rights terminated. I would just really like to hear from someone who has done this to kinda ease my mind that I have the right paperwork etc. I know FL changed the rules in October of 2002 and I believe we have it right I just need a little reassuring this is such a huge step and one we are looking so forward to. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We are in the same boat. I wish I could help, but we aren't having much luck in finding info re: termination of rights. If I hear anything, I'll post another reply. In the mean time, best of luck!

I live in Arizona and am currently in the process of terminating the rights of my daughters biological father. The courts had no forms for this. They told me to look at form stores, a lawyer or a book store. Well, I called around to every bookstore and all of them no longer carry them. The lawyers wouldn't sell me the forms. I finally got a hold of a law form place. The website is www.nationallawforms.com I don't know if they can help you in your state but you might just want to check because they can send the forms through email. Good luck to all of you!
