Me and husband have been married sence 1997, and he is wanting to adopt me two children (ages now 10 & 13 ). The children's father was my second husband and he killed him self in 1996 after a long painfull illness. We are trying to find out if their is anyway to do a step-parent adoption with out a lawyer. We have my late husband's parent's concent for the adoption. My husband now, is my late husband's cousin and have been around the children all their lives. We have priced lawyer's and the cheap's one we found here in ower town in Missouri is $ 800.00 and we just don't have that. We could use any HELP possable. THANKS ! |
