PLEASE HELP!! Deaf baby girl
My husband and I have been DILIGENTLY looking for 6 months for a deaf baby girl under the age of 4 to adopt. We are so discouraged because we have emailed over 300 agencies and have not found 1 deaf girl under 4! We have a completed homestudy and are INS approved. If there is ANY advice or help anyone could give, we would appreciate it more than you know! I have searched DANS, Precious.org, and Rainbowkids.com Thanks to anyone willing to respond.

on the home page of this site. They have a forum for adoptive parents who are looking for special needs children. It might be waiting children/special needs. Sorry I can't remember the exact name of the forum, but if you go to the home page and look at the forums, it's in there somewhere! LOL

Have you thought of adopting from India? There is a huge amount of special needs children in that country waiting to be adopted. We are currently working on our third adoption from India...all three were girls and all three were considered special needs. Please e-mail me privately...Karen gkasche@usachoice.net I know personally of three deaf children adopted from India. I wish you well...

Self Help for Hard of Hearing
There is an organization called SHHH, Self Help for Hard of Hearing that is not an adoption agency, but they have support groups all over America, and they might know of a child that needs to be adopted. They are involved in all levels of the deaf community.
