Seems like most of the boards have come to a close-to-halt phase the past couple weeks. Hoping its not the holidays bringing out blues for those still waiting and/or trying times for those with new placements handling the first emotions as well as excitement of holidays with a new family. Updates are always welcome ... good and difficult!

Pam ... it was so rewarding reading your latest post and knowing that life for you and your family is moving forward ... doesn't mean you won't still have alot to pass through but once you start the healing process things begin rolling ... sometimes slow -sometimes better than you expected. Know our hearts and prayers are with you this first holiday season without all the children you thought would be there with you this Christmas morning not so long ago. Our home feels a touch empty too but we have no regrets with our child still placed in acute care awaiting RTC placement. That doesn't mean its easy ... it just means we have accepted what must be and what may or may not come in the future.

So Everyone - stay warm, stay healthy and update here soon.
