Reluctant spouse
Any advise on how to win over a reluctant spouse. I believe we would
make good adoptive parents. Spouse can see the "theoretical" and "logical" reasons to adopt but is reluctant to commit any further. Since we are older, we are looking at an older child. I believe part of the reluctance comes from the fact that our own child has been on his own for the past few years and we've enjoyed a modicum of freedom and tranquility, something that would be lost by bringing another child into the home. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions would be appreciated.
