Seeking Placement for Special Needs Child

Although pretty, intelligent, and capable of becoming a loving child, Cristina needs more help than we can possibly offer. Two solid years of psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, and social workers has amounted to little if any improvement. I'll not bore readers with the details, but suffice it to say our family has been neither happy nor functional for the last three years. The biggest part of the problem is that, due to Cristina's behavior, we have been unable to bond with her and begin to love her as parents should. That situation is extremely unlikely to change. The situation must end, and we have agreed it is in everyone's best interest that we attempt to place Cristina with a family which is equipped and experienced to deal with a mentally disturbed child.
We are asking anyone with suggestions, recommendations, or resources to share, as well as anyone who is considering adopting a special needs child with mental problems, to contact us at laz263@aol.com. Thank you all.
