Going rate for tooth fairy

The tooth is a lot more loose than I thought. I need to get the cash quick. This is the first tooth. So anybody know the going rate for reasonably upscale daycare in the midwest? I don't want to spoil her but she will know what the others get soon.

We give $5 for the first tooth. Each tooth after that, we give $2.

Yea, I was thinking $5. I like the idea of less after that because $5 seems like a lot.

Sorry Jeff no way on the candy. She already has the caps, hopefully from just bad dental care. I'm really hoping she will have normal new teeth and it was just lack of care.

It's only a buck here too! Quinn lost his teeth almost all at once. They came out 2 or 3 at time. I'd be broke. Thankfully, his last two baby teeth just fell out a couple weeks ago - within a few days of each other!

$5 for first tooth, 3 for second, and 1 for all others.......

my kids also loose theirs in spurts......FD lost 2 in one day, then one the next day and one the next. it was crazy. FS lost 2 in 3 days then one a week later. I now keep a few ones in the safe locked up with the medicine!

My oldest lost his first tooth while I was in Russia adopting his sister and my father in law gave him a golden dollar coin, so that has been the tradition in our family ever since. They love them and they are unusual and different and so they keep them and treasure them and feel sorry for friends who just get normal money. My father in law always used to get them at the bank for me. We lost him a few years ago and the next lost tooth is when it really hit me that he was gone.

Our tooth fairy brings coins from around the world. I went to the bank & cashed in $20 for a collection of coins. So far we've had coins from Peru, China, Chile, Canada & Mexico. We talk about how the tooth fairy visits children from all over the world & look at the map to see where our coins came from.

Ours gave $2 for the first and $1 thereafter. Since my kids earn money for rewards (up to $0.40/day), I didn't want the tooth fairy money to blow the earned money out of the water.

Our tooth fairy is old fashioned and brings whatever is in the pockets of his pants. Usually shiny coins, but not the same amount per tooth or anything. Our TF is a random kind of fairy.
