Most of the signs used on Signing Times do translate to the signs used in ASL. I have used the videos with my kids and have taken ASL classes. What I learned from the videos is, for the most part, the same as the classes.

I agree with Withay regarding signing time. I don't know about "baby signing time" but the standard signing time uses ASL, the only time I've run into trouble is with regional differences between the signs... which is just like me saying "You guys" and Lylac saying "Y'all".
