SNPTF's Great Pumpkin 2009

I am getting a LATE START on this... but who wants to play Great Pumpkin this year?

We did it last year for Halloween. All interested parties will PM me their name and mailing address. You will receive in return the name and address of another participant and you'll send them a package of Halloween goodies. Please don't go overboard, like $5-10 is a good price range to spend.

Let's say, Thursday the 22 will be the deadline to send me a PM? I'll PM people the person they're buying for by the 23.

If you sent me a PM, you should have been assigned your person you're buying a Halloween gift for. If you did not get this, LET ME KNOW!

Also, as people get their stuff, be sure to let us know on here who sent you a gift and what you got, so we can all enjoy hearing about it.

Or even a Big Turkey? I mean, for those of us who didn't get with it this time, could we do one for Thanksgiving? and also Christmas? And New Year's, of course....

(And then President's Day, Valentine's, MLK Jr. Day, St. Patrick's....)

I'll even step up to 'run' one...if it's too much for one person to do again...

Talking

I never got a name, so I just assumed it had fizzled on the vine.

Then, yesterday, I get the coolest Halloween clock from Momraine! Every hour, it lets out great Halloween sound effects. I have tons of halloween decor, but no clocks.

Thanks so much, Rainey!!!

Okay, if your gift is late, please don't panic. I have learned that the PM system ATE a couple of names and addresses, and I have resent the information to the people missing the name of their Great Pumpkin Person. Sorry for the mixup, folks.

Never got the original, ...

but I did get a name on the re-send. That means, somewhere out there, some unsuspecting household will recieve a mysterious package next week. What horrible items will it contain?????

A severed human head????
year-old tuna casserole????
a "best of Barney" video compliation???
a DVD of the clothing-optional Twister game at Mikestock II???

I had found a couple of cutesy things at the dollar store, but then I got Mike's name and knew cutesy wouldn't cut it. Since I was worried that I would never make it to the post office, I ordered it and sent it via the internet. I saw some other cool things, like a gun that shoots cobwebs so you can cover your ceilings and walls and a smoke machine, but they were all out of the price range. So you get the cool clock. I am glad you like it!
