I'm sorry but that is just disgusting! You pay someone to beat you up in some sick attempt at a late term abortion, then when it doesn't work & your child is taken from you- you fight to get custody back?? This is the same child she paid to have killed? UGH!

And, they had to release her from jail...because TECHNICALLY it was a "paid abortion"....And by definition, since an abortion is done to a WOMAN and not a CHILD, there is no legal cause to keep her child from her... Since...of course abortion isn't murder....*sarcasm*

I really would like pro-choice to defend this situation.....It takes very little logic to see this act as horrific.... But by all abortion laws and timing, it's perfectly ok....Which would indicate that somehow the title of Doctor changes it from an act of harm against a child, into a woman's procedure. Like if the guy had a degree, the bat would have been considered a "medical instrument". The only difference in this case vs a traditional abortion is how it was packaged. But present an abortion done this way and it's very easy to see why the pro-life stance feels the way they do.

This is the 2nd case this year in my state of a girl paying to get beat up to cause a miscarraige.
