Saw baby pictures of 3 or my sons today

First baby pics I've seen of any of my sons. SIL posted them on her facebook. The boys asked about pics as kids but were told mom had destroyed them all. Glad she didn't. I was suprised I could tell the which twin was which. SIL snapped pics of bmom's photo album but they came out pretty clear.

Gave me an odd sense of sadness for what I missed and what their lives should have been if bmom could have beaten her battle with drugs when they were little.

I am glad I finally got to see them as babies. They were really cute then too.

How wonderful. I'm so glad for you, but even more so for your boys that they are now able to see pictures of themselves as babies.

I'm glad you were able to see the pix. I agree about the mixed blessing it is to see them.

I think that's really cool! I'm envious. lol! Just one of those aspects of adopting older children that a lot of us deal with that I "accept" and yet hate that I have to "accept" it.

Really happy for you and your boys!!! Nice to hear that sometimes this type of thing turns out differently.

I am so happy for you. About six months ago I was able to track down a few pictures of my kids. Really does make us sad that we weren't part of our lives back then.
