Where's the all boys boarding school/island

Went to pick up 12 year old S and his friends at the pool and there they are surrounded by bikini clad girls-eek. They got phone numbers and there was hugging and I'm locking him up until he's 30. What happened to my baby?

*Crick puts on serious face b/c she knows her time is coming and will feel the same way. So do NOT laugh and go Awwwww! Crick. DO NOT DO IT"

Maybe she caught a chill and he was just giving her a hug to warm her up?

*crick..you are NOT being supportive and Lucy is going to kill you*

Awwww...

*Lucy slaps Crick*

Okay, okay! What a sight to see and not see your baby but an apparent stud. I'm sure you maintained your composure unlike me who will likely run up to the girls and tell them to get their hands off my baby!

a few months ago we went to the shoe store.....the girl that worked there kept calling my son(15) by name and waving until he finally flipped his hair at her and nodded. she followed him around the store like a puppy...and even introduced herself to us. my son maybe spoke one word the whole time. she didn't seem to mind. she was so adorable and obviously head over heels for my son. it was then i also realized i needed to find the all boys island too.....so when you get directions, please pass them on. i'm too young to have a son that likes girls. lol.

Didn't they write about that all boys island??? Wasn't the book called Lord of the Flies??

I'm sure there must be a different island....

Ok, I know what you mean. It's a bit shocking sometimes to all of a sudden have it shoved in your face that your Little Baby is likely to start being called Baby by someone else - and it won't involve bullying.

My 16 yr old sister just got asked out on her very first date yesterday. He had her home by 9:45. I was gone when he picked her up, and I forgot to give her a curfew.

It was very sweet. He was a super nice kid..... with big awesome truck that he pays for himself...

She was positively glowing at how he treated her. It was the best thing ever for her self esteem/sense of worth-value.

You are approaching this shooing away of the girls all wrong. Let me explain.

The most effective way to stop this is to at all times carry a naked baby picture with you--best if it's a rear view. When some girl child starts fawning all over your boy child, simply say, "Oh, if you think he's cute now, just let me show you this!" and deftly whoop out the picture.

The young lady will giggle like the girl she is and go "Aaaawww!" and your son will turn into the baby that he is, pull his head down into his shoulders, turn red, and be rendered speechless. There will, of course, be heck to pay later, but oh well.

From that point on, he will avoid that particular young lady even if she still bats her lovely eyes at him--she's seen him nekkid!

And word gets around about things like that.

You only have to do it a time or two.

Experience in these matters--I has it!

I've not read Lord of the Flies, but the impression I have is that the kids basically became RAD-ish. The concept was too depressing and I have to save reading time for child development, schooling, and brain candy. This doesn't fall into any of those categories.

Baby picture: GREAT idea. You also have to discuss the way they spit up or some other highlight of infancy. My prob is I don't HAVE baby pix. Would drawings suffice??? LOL

Be very careful Greenrobin! In the "old days" that was cute. In this "Brave New World" it is corrupting a minor and distributing child porn! Ahh - how I long for the old days!
