Need a tiny favor
All evening long Lyla has asked me if she would get an email now. She is so excited about it. I told her that of course I'd send her an email. So tonight after she went to bed I set her up an account. And I know that, that will be the first thing that she'll ask about tomorrow eveing.
So what Im asking is, whenever you get a free minute (if thats posible) could you send her a quick email. It doesn't have t be anything more than a Hi Lyla. That would just thrill her. Her email addy is minilylac@yahoo.com I plan on sending as many as I can tonight. Thank ya  And if anyones child has an email addy and would like a cyber pen pal, she'd love that too.

I sent her an email and forwarded something I got from my friend in Australia - it is really cute, you will love it too.
I'd say my daughter could be an email pal, but she has lost her internet priveliges indefinately. That's what happens when you go into a forbidden chat room, get a phone number and call a boy you don't know in Puerto Rico!!!!

Mine is the one with the dolphins, signed Gabi. It's a longish message, I hope it's appropriate for her age and comprehension level. I am sure you will help her if it is too challenging. This is something I am doing regularly for the kids I am volunteering with, but they are four miles away from my home. This is the first time I am doing it for a child who is two continents away. Thanks everyone! We didn't get the chance to check emails this evening, by the time we got home it was past bed time. So I plan on reading them to her tomorrow.
Lyla can understand what I read to her, she can not read herself yet. and the only way for her to reply is if, I type it for her. I've had a few folks that was concerned about her safety by getting emails and her addy being public. Lyla can not get online without my help..she just wouldn't know where to even start. I read her emails first..and then have to read them to her. I have NO worries for her safty when it comes to emails at all. I do appreciate the concern though. Lyla is gonna be tickled! You guy are the BEST!
