After a little threat..we are home!
They wanted us to stay til Friday evening to sign the papers, even after everyone had approved everything. Anyways we had, had enough. We have sick kids at home and was determined to leave. So Tim just told them that whatever they had to get done..had better GET done. That we were going home, and they could bring our son to us. Within 15 mins the papers were done, and we left out. We got home at 4:30 this morning. NO MORE 900 mile straight driving road trips.
Things are going good here so far. Except that I got a call from CDC saying that Lyla's test from the ER showed that she had been infected with the Shigella bacteria ...and since none of us are/were sick they narrowed it down to her school. She's doing much better...but I'm highly P.O about the school thing. Anyways she can't go back to school til she gets 2 negative poop samples. My other babies are fine. Nathan is one busy little fellow!

Welcome home!!! Glad to hear you got fed up with their antics and gave an ultimatum. Sorry to hear about Lyla... but it will give Lyla a chance to hang with her new bro while out of school.
We're still having issues with R's agency. The judge on Tues told the agency they have 2 weeks and they see the judge 1x a week during that time. If they don't meet the deadline, then they will have to go before the judge DAILY and at THEIR cost/expense until whatever the issue is resolved. Keep in mind ICPC is DONE and has been done since before New Years. Now we're just waiting for you to post some pics!!

So far we're dealing with some clinginess with Lyla, but it's more likely because we were gone, and not the addition of her new brother. Bremon is standing his ground so far...and not taking crap from Nathan. I only had to rescue him once so far. Nathan caught Bremon down, and he had him pinned to the floor.
Nathan is a sweet baby BUT, he also likes to pull hair, dig his nails into you, smack your face (not hard). I know that it's not just from all the new craziness in his life, because he did this at his foster family's home too. He may just be our most challenging one yet. He walks constantly! And since his vision is very low in one eye he walks all over the other kids. Lyla is accustomed to being crawled over by Bremon, so she's taking all of this like a pro. He's too busy to be held long. Nathan is used to sleeping in a crib and jumping in it alot. But we decided to just put him in the bed with Bremon..opposite ends! And so far it's working. I have to sit on his legs to get him to be still so I can tube feed him. His foster family is/was awesome! I swear I've never seen anyone so organized with a childs information than them. I'm talking about right down to the hour day to day. She had his meds all mixed up for us for a few days, so that I wouldn't have to do it when I first got home. She made sure that we had everything that we would need in one diaper bag for our trip home. She sent cases of diapers, bottled water to mix his formula..and so much more. And what was even nicer is that they are the type of folks that you'd love to hang out with....anytime. Miss Abbie was kinda mad at me at first. She wouldn't give me her amazing smile and coo's for about an hour. But she's back to normal now. Peacfully sleeping in her crib. As far as posting pics..I can't. Well I can but I would have to cover up the most gorgeous part of him..his shinny bright blue eyes. We also found out that he was born with some brain damage..then was shook..twice. Wow I just realized that he is partly like Abbie and partly like L & B. He's on a ton of meds..even more than Abbie was and it's gonna take a lil bit to get him straightened out..but I'm betting in 3 months time, he'll be a totally different baby.We have officially decided that 4 SN kids is our limit. And also feel like our family is complete. LOL I'm gonna need lots of Rum in the next few months to handle Hurricane Nate!
