Mikestock II...Return to Hoosierland

OK, several of the women-folk on this board keep telling me "we need a date so we can commit!!" (Sorry, like most guys, I shy away from any commitment.) Under penalty of GREAT bodily harm from one Lucyjoy, I have set the dates for "Mikestock II: Three days of Love, Peace, and Getting Away from our Kids".

You are cordially invited to join the SNPTF in South Bend, Indiana, the weekend of June 12-14th, 2009. This is the weekend BEFORE Father's Day.

Last Mikestock featured cocktails at Casa de Mike on Friday, a private tour of Notre Dame capmus, a trip to scenic Lake Michigan for a spectacular sunset on Saturday, and plenty of fun. Oh, and we also paid a visit to the main facotry of the South Bend Chocolate Company, where resident health and fitness guru Tybee was seduced by the chocolate-covered cherries and was never the same again.

Private message me to RSVP or if you need more info.

Book flights before gas goes up anymore and rates are still cheaper.

Last year we flew into Chicago and car pooled as it was a cheaper flight so I'd advise checking all the airport choices.

And really, the cheap motel wasn't that bad! There was one bad drug deal fight and no shots were fired.

I vote for the beach again.

I vote for the beach, too! Don't fix it if it's not broken!!! (And I was in the safe section of the motel, so have no complaints there, either.)

Are there no nice hotels by the beach? Oh and how much cheaper is cheap? I don't mind paying a little extra if there is no drug deals going on around the place.

If I can teach the doberman (the smartest of the bunch) to feed and water the rest of the menagerie, I might be able to make it this year.

I wouldn't hold your breath though.

Is there a reason that you picked that week-end? Just wondering because air fares the week before are less than half the price. Maybe it is a school holiday thing or something?

Try cheaptickets.com and priceline. Also, check flying in Thursday instead of Friday. Sometimes that cuts my ticket price in half. Check Ohare and midway airports in Chicago as well.
