At this point we're thinking 4 is enough. Even after 2 states, a judge, this states nurse, a GAL, a medical cw and his whole foster family have either approved and/or signed off on Nathans placement, we're still being forced to jump through hoops here for his cw and her super. And we're just so tired of all of this pre-adoption crap . Know I know why Florida needs homes for 3500 kids . Sorry about going O/T here. But I think we're done too.

Indy, you've done way more than your share ..and way more than most would do.

Lylac, exactly. Even though we weren't jumping through as many hoops as you have had to, we were still just so done with all the bureaucracy.

It's been a breath of fresh air to not be bound by all the appointments, waiting for people to sign on/off, etc. We just...are, now. We're doing family stuff, in a family way, as a family. Not that we didn't before, but there was more mental stress keeping track of all the other people who had to be considered along the way.

Indy, You have done your share. I have done fostercare for a total of 15 yrs and adopted two very special needs kids now age 15 and 4. I am due to renew in Feb also and will not . It has been nice no sw, appointments, vists, casa, lawyers etc. Part of me would love another baby but Im 45 and my kids will prob not live on their own so I will be parenting till I die anyway.lol
Indy, if you are bored I have a 15 yr old son who could come keep you company.lol
