Yesterday a 13yo old girl along with two boys (one was her brother) skipped school. The girl got drunk and returned to school. She passes out and an ambulance had to come get her. They are afraid she might have alcohol poisoning. They tested the boys but the were not drinking. WHAT THE CRAP WAS SHE THINKING.
I asked "A" how the girl left school and returned without any teachers noticing. She said it is very easy to skip classes. All they have to do is ask to go to the bathroom and then leave. The teacher rarely look for them and if they do a friend will say the "skipper" was sick. I told A that if she ever skips a second of school she will have a 2 week long time-out ![]() |

You're assuming that "adolescence" and "thinking" are not mutually exclusive terms.
![]() I'm saddened that fellow students and even staff (not just the teachers) aren't attempting to be more concerned about their fellow man. Hopefully this girl won't continue on this path, perhaps even having a friend or mentor who can help her find a better way to go through life.
