Is it the holidays or WHAT?!

I'm not exactly blue...but I sure ain't skippy, either!

I've been sick for a whole MONTH. I've had to go to the (makes my skin crawl to just type this...) doctor several times and still have another appointment to go. *shudder*

The kids can't seem to 1) comprehend anything I tell them, and/or 2) do what they've been told. I swear if they had 10 broken fingers, 2 broken legs, 2 broken arms, and their neck in a brace they'd do an army crawl just to do something I told them NOT to do. Seriously, I get these blank stares when I give them directions. The topper was that today Ds1 wandered around in this odd daze, unable to do chores or school. HELLO?! Is anyone even in there? He answers questions in his head, not verbally, much of the time anyway so it can be kind of surreal to have a conversation with him at the best of times, but today...OH MY WORD! I'm going crazy!!!

Bills. (Need I say more?) Oh, and there was this snafu with the medical records for some of the kids so that's just been another pin in my little Barksum voodoo doll.

Consequently I turned to coffee as my little crutch today and I think I may have overdone the caffeine a bit. (ie: I snapped at Dh when he was trying to remember the words to The Twelve Days of Christmas. I think that's really bad...to be snarky about a Christmas carol! )

That's my week so far.

So, how is YOUR week going?? LOL

Just for the record, I am NOT the one sticking pins in your voodoo doll(just clearing that up so santa doesn't decide to give my to someone else)

Kids aren't suppose to give you blank stares? Mine forgot to put his hands up to catch a football that ended up smaking into his face. "I saw it coming, mom" yet no hands went up to get it, no ducking-

Hope your week gets better.

My week has started of wonderful!..if you like snot and puke! All 3 kids are sick. Lyla puked on me and my recliner, then left a trail between the livingroom and my bathroom, then in her bed..twice..and finally in MY bed! Abbie was screaming, because her head is stopped up, and her having a high palette causes colds to be even worse. Bremon is coughing and has snot everywhere..And he thought just because his sister's were up at 2am, that he could keep the party going by playing his music on his aquarium..and bang it against the wall. None of the kids went to school.

We had a 2 hour foster parent class on education policies. It's an annual class, but this year they had a sub teaching it and we actually spent 2 hours learning about her life in the 1950's and her parents divorcing blah blah blah. And the kicker is she's from another county and assumes that our county does things like theirs WRONG!

The updated, updated homestudy still hasn't been sent yet. Our CW says it will be o/n by Monday. Then it has to go to Florida. So we gave them until the 12th to get everything done..or else it would have to be after Christmas before we can go get our son
They had court for him today and the judge is quite angry about how long it's taking..along with his GAL that has called DCS here. Tim is upset..thinking that folks are gonna mess around and they will give our son to someone else..but Florida assuered us that they won't do that.

The puppies down the road pulled Tim's balls.... off the tree's outside..umm Xmas balls that it is. And Bass just set there and let them do it..he's such a carefree dog!

The stray pregnant cat won't kill the mice in the shed, and Bass let's her eat his food.

The only 2 good things about today are #1 listening to Bremon and Lyla sing along to The Little People's Christmas songs..Bremon even said alot of the words and #2 It's almost over.

Hope your day..week turns out better.
