Chat news-no bail out for Santa

Yes, you did read that right. Santa will not be getting his government bailout causing elves to be laid off. Therefore, Christmas will be much less about presents this year.

Jenny forgot that she was the one that drank all the rum, apparently with both hands-one with eggnog, one with coke.

Mrsred was tired after she finished off all the wine.

Of course, Crick was trying to raise funds running a cash bar during chat. Not sure how that worked out but she stole her daughter's $5 to help herself to the beer since the rum and the wine were both gone.

Athikers is not allowed to travel with us because she insists she is no fun and we are all about fun.

Lorraine was again MIA and a private detective is being hired to find her. We hope he takes baked goods as payment cause kburch won't lets us eat any baked goods and we spent all our money at the bar.

Kburch is now old as she thinks 8:30 is bedtime and she also didn't think her church would rearrange their schedule to match snptf travel plans. I don't see the problem myself.

Lylac needs a stepstool. She apparently discovered she was short.

Mrsred killed the reindeer that are laying all over the highways if anyone was wondering about that.

Great...
Since Santa isn't getting a bailout, I guess Christmas is up to me again. That will teach me to be lazy about the tree, won't it?

How can there be no rum?

Blame Jenny for that one! She not only freely admitted it but she also got into the eggnog too. So no holiday drinking for the rest of us!

Lylac's bed proves to be too high and it's causing her incontinence at night because she can't get down. It's also causing balding spots...you'll need to pm her for those details.

MrsRed cleans a lot of closets and apparently this is something you are supposed to do periodically.

KB fainted at least twice while I was there and this caused severe fatigue.

I was trying to keep goodwill towards men and be a good moral citizen for a change, but that didn't last long and they corrupted me once again.

Is the private detective gorgeous, sexy and wearing only cowboy boots?

Amy that is the exact reason we sent the ugliest one we could find. We don't want Lorraine to go into hibernation. A cute one would only make things worse.

We have had a long week. My father in law died unexpectedly last Sunday night and the rest of the week was very busy as you can imagine. Still I had planned to be in chat, until my dh, not understanding the importance, decided to download a big file using my computer. GRRR
Next week, we will be with his mom so I probably won't make it then either. Of course if there is no rum what is the point? Send the cute cowboy after me and maybe he will take my cranky sister in law who is single off my hands.

I killed the reindeer? Hmm, guess I really better cut back on the wine. Besides making me sleepy, it apparently also makes me dangerous to reindeer AND forgetful! Tell your kids I am sorry, when Santa is late cuz he had to walk.

Amy and Mom, my prayers for both of you in your time of loss.
