As I sit here pondering today's most awful events, my mind goes to the child who couldn't wait to get off the bus this afternoon and make sure home was still here and all those who called from far and near to make sure that we were ok or that one we knew who could have been involved were fine and treasure the one common bond that the people of this world share and that is LOVE and then I think of all the children around the world who have not felt the true love of a parent or a sibling and want to extend my heartfelt wish that all of you who are in placement or awaiting placement don't ever let go of the dream (even in the most difficult of times) and each and every one of us do make a difference!

Sorry this is wordy and probably melancholy but just can't fathom the cruelty the world has dealt so many today and we haven't even begun to see the news reports involving people and its after-effects.

Our hearts and prayers are with all those who have or are suffering today!
