Need a band name...
With my oldest boyplaying clarinet, dd starting drums, middle boy squeaking the heck out of his newly received recorder (4th grade music class tortures parents with this "instrument), and my youngest being a singer, headed by dh who plays guitar, I need a name for this family band.
Suggestions?

Brandyn Coppedge died on 9/11/09. Rosie Smith died on 9/30/09 and Thapelo Kwofie died on 11/1/09. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is no longer recommending safety kits. They are now recommending that anywhere children live or visit should be free of corded window products. |

Crick, mine don't actually play the instruments but I have tortured them for 2 years by forcing them to play air guitar and drums in the van as MY back up band. This weekend they decided to be the female version of The Jonas Brothers and insisted I work out a routine for them to perform. They started bugging about a name tonight and I about fell out when I read this. I am stealing Kids on Bikes.

How about Good Bye Band?
You really do have my sympathy. Last year my two olders started band. J plays the trumpet and T the flute. It is a little less scary now, but the first couple months are rough.

Okay - Cal (13) came home from school today and said he had met 3 kids and the 4 of them were going to start a band - 2 played guitar, 1 plays drums, and HE is going to do the pyrotechnics
The name of their band? "Piercing Heart" ![]() Crick for your kids I like "Cumulative Dissonance" (or whatever Barki said), since Tudu stole "Kids on Bikes! ![]()

LOL! Y'all are creative!
My faves are... Apology to my neighbors Cumalative Dissonance SoundBytes Tudu stole Kids on Bikes and really, that's a good thing because the first thing that popped into my head when I read it (because I have a bad sense of humor) was "Kids On Crack". Removable ears are a MUST when kids are learning instruments and definitely when a recorder is involved. EGADS! The drums & clarinet I can handle but the high pitched recorder makes my skin just CRAWL.
