What is with the twins thing? We've been asked, too, and the differences in age, let alone size/coloring/ethnicity are very marked. Do people just fall back on the twins statement when they don't know what to say?? LOL

I expected that there would be times like this - but I never thought they'd be so bad, so long, and so frequent.

Someone asked me how old my kids are... I said 12 1/2, 12 and 8. they then asked if the two older ones were twins. Yep... she has always been stubborn, just didn't want to come out.

Some of the dumbest things I hear these days though actually come from my 12 year old daughter. I know she is only 12, but come on! Like tonight, the Olympics were on and she asked me how it could be "live" if it was light!?! I said "Because it is morning in China". it gets better.... she then said "Those people don't look Chinese".
She is not a special ed student.... she is "normal", gets A's - C's. How?
