Tough moments
So my 18 year old ad and her boyfriend have moved out of his dad's house with their now 4 month old baby, and they would like to move in with me. I said, I love you, but no. In my house, unwed couples don't sleep together.
Another tough moment in parenting. However, I was quite clear on my future position on this issue before the poor baby was born! It would be nice if one of them would get a job or perhaps even finish high school... |

In my book, great job in standing strong and keeping your boundaries! This is always a tough one....I know it would be for me if/when I was in the same situation!

You are not a hotel, good choice though I'm sure it was tough.

Tough love
...is not "tough" on the kids. It's tough on "us" parents!
Good job standing your ground. Many of us have had to do the same thing! Tonight, J2 asked if he could spend the night. He got fired two weeks ago and hasn't filled out more than one application. I told him "no" as well. Hang tough!

((hugs)) I hate having to stand firm. It's painful!!! It is necessary that one's children (and grandchildren) know that you say what you mean and do what you say.
