I'm going to try...
I'm really hoping I can make it. Finances here are also precarious since I do a lot of consulting and some of my clients are governmental entities who are cash-strapped and having to delay my fees.

I've never been to the Southwest and I've always wanted to go. Being and empty-nester also makes it easy to just take off.

And, for the record, I do not answer to "MOOOOOOOMMMM", no matter how annoying the tone.
