I keep on knocking........but I can't come in!
Ok, hello, CHAT tonight and I can't get this @#$^&*%$ computer to let me into chat!
Last week it would only load 42%, this week it's only to 12%! The "loading settings" says OK, but the "Loading Main Chat Window" is only at 12%!!! I've logged out, shut down, refreshed many times.....................AAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! So it's NOT that I don't want to come........and believe me I sooooooooooooooo want to come! I just can't get in. (sigh) Miss you all! Sandy

Ok, I'm frustrated and irritated and disappointed........but am trying to be more positive and less pessimistic. The whole lemons to lemonade thing.
So here's what I would have said: I am sitting here really sunburnt. I took Q to the beach today while J was rock-climbing with his ADAPT (school counseling) group all day. I got most of the sunscreen myself, but couldn't reach my back, because my swimsuit has a cutout/dip thing on it. So I asked Q to spray my back with the sunscreen. Need less to say, it did NOT go well. I have a lovely white circular spot in the middle of my back, and the rest is quite toasty. I looked in the mirror and besides being painful, I look like a big dork.  So much for Q's help............ (eye roll) I looked at my journal from a year ago, trying to cheer myself up (house not selling, no placements, sucky worker, etc.) - and realized my life has had a TON of changes in the last year. For the good, actually. So although there's some major negative stuff right now, I'm trying to keep in mind that things are changing for the better, just not as fast as I would have liked. Does that make sense? I think I need another popsicle. Sandy OH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to tell you all, dessert in mind, that I had the BEST thing today!!!! A Girl Scout thin mint cookie Blizzard!!!!!! It's from Dairy Queen - Mint soft serve ice cream, chocolate chunks, thin mint cookie chunks................ Oh. My. God!!!!!! It was the BEST thing EVER!!!!!! Yes...............sending a BIG one to everybody reading this. Yum. YUM. Yum!!!!!

Try completely shutting down your computer, that used to work for me when I was on dial-up. Make sure you leave it off for a good two minutes.

I shut it completely down after each time I use it (usually twice a day)
I've clicked on Chat more than 30 times, each time it still gets to 12% loaded, then stops. Even with refreshing. So I quit. Sorry, girls (guys?????) - that's enough frustration for today. Sandy

This is TUESDAY? Crud. I complely thought it was Monday. I'm home from Florida and both kiddo and I are still alive. Though... I did have to perform a takedown and a restraint hold on the front lawn of the church my mother attends. Needless to say, that was NOT the high point of vacation. Will give a full update later.
