chat excuse
I am submitting my excuse for missing chat tonight... just in case anyone else actually shows up.
I am going to a "Passion Party".... Can't imagine that I will want to be buying a whole lot of what ever it is they are selling (unless I think dh needs a good laugh), but it is a night out WITH NO KIDS ![]()

I was there for about 40 minutes by myself and finally gave up. I usually have more patience, but I'm trying to get into the habit of exercising, and as it is only day 3, I am exhausted!
So, I guess my chat excuse is the proverbial "tree in the forest" question: if a person goes to chat, and no one sees her, was she there??? ![]()

I wasn't there either....kiddo has been acting out lately like maybe I won't notice...so anytime spent online is just a opening for her to misbehave...
How was THE PASSION PARTY? I love going to those things! it's so much nicer than the creepy truck stop style store, AND it's less confusing because you get to open and handle the merchandise while it's use is explained to you.

I came, I sat by myself for awhile, I left.
Sounds like there was a lot of that going around last night! |

My chat excuse...after getting back from vacation and doing LOADS of laundry, I went to bed early. I *really* was going to make chat, but couldn't keep my eyes opened.
mrsred, I haven't been to one of 'those' parties for years. Did you end up buying anything?

The party was fun... the hostess served strawberry daiquiris, mimosas (anyway I think that was what she called it 0- it was good!)and margaritas the moment we walked in the door. Although I did make a couple small purchases (an no, I won't tell what), I didn't book a party, and don't think I will be a frequent customer. lol

I was off at the family reunion. We had the ridiculasly expensive party for my in laws fiftieth, it was very nice, the food (stuff I never heard of) tasted great, over 200 people showed up. My kids and my neice and nephews behaved very well. M and his cousin the same age sat at a table and quietly played game boys all night. The others socialized and helped out where needed. I took a million pictures and talked to people who talked to me. I did find out that my mil brags about my daughter all the time. Funny cause she was so against that adoption at the time. Now she is crazy about her. She is having a harder time with M, but we did get to have a nice talk today where I was able to explain a little more about RAD. She had noticed he was distant and thought it was her. He is a charmer but of course it's all very superficial and she has now been around him enough to realize it. Anyway, they enjoyed the pary. Dh had to go home on Sunday because of some problem at work. This afternoon my sil who is bossy and pushy and single burst into tears with me. Which was interesting. She is not that type of person at all, but the stress of being the one who did most of the party planning fell on her. The kids had a great time with thier cousins and my sil kept my daughter for the week. Anyway, that's where I was. Now I have unpacking and laundry to do.
