How is everyone?

We have been getting pounded with severe weather, and I know it usually heads to Mike, Indy and Jenny after it hits me.

Just wondering if anyone is flooded out, has trees down, or anything else.

We had some severe weather (no flooding out). Lots of rain and wind. Now it is very hot and VERY humid. In the 100s the next few days.....

We're having lots of storms as well-more predicted today. Not under water yet, but not looking good. The crooked river, that will flood my house, is halfway up the level and the Mo is kicking it's way up the levee on the other side as well. There are some roads already under water in the town next to mine. We just keep praying for the rain to stop.

We've had some severe storms here, but nothing I can't deal with. The temperature shot up last week, though. We've had high 80's with very high humidity. This morning, I left the house at 7:30am and it was already sticky.

I can't wait for fall.

No rain here. But man is it hot! Been in the 100's and the humidity is HORRIBLE. Been riding my Harley to work and it is smothering. But an inhaler is cheaper than a tank of gas, so the bike it is.

Been a little cooler this week but not producing any moisture really. It spits on us taunting us all the way "want rain? here's the dark clouds and rumbles, spit spit spit...MWA HA HA HA AHA HAAAA, that's ALL YOU GET!" Evil!

I don't mind 70 degree weather though and certainly not envying all of you dealing with the humidity! ugh! Or the flooding..yikes!

We have enough storms in our house lately without considering the weather... a tornado flattened many houses in a town 20 minutes from us!!!

We had rain for 30 minutes on Thursday, and it's been un-seasonally cool (like 80 degrees) this June so far...However, Lake Powell is rising a foot a day!!!! The water seriously covers about 50 yards of perviously pristine sandy beaches, and it's clear up high into the stickery bushes now (Tamarisk)...Not fun AT ALL

Lucy will send Lylac all the rain from here. Farmers are sandbagging levees on the other side of my small town now. I don't need anymore rain for a long, long time.

It is sunny and cool and not humid today, though.

Very dry, windy, and low humidity here in Colorado, there are high-fire-danger warnings. It isn't bad weather, as long as no one lights a match.

My front yard

This is what our front yard looks like, even 2 days after the last time it rained. More rain coming Thursday and Friday.

Not good here...

When the tornado went through, I had 10 houses damaged. Everything from loss of trees to roof damage. Some of the tenants did not get power until Wednesday! Then the heat wave knocked 4 air conditioners. To top it off, two basements flooded completely.

My personal home was fine, though it was hard to go anywhere for a day or so. The nearby interstate was closed as was a major state road. The county roads were packed.

I hate bad weather!
