Home from Nashville

Tim's surgery went great!! His knee is really swollen and painful. He's got meds for the pain and a cool pack thingy that looks like a cooler. You put ice and water in it and then this thing on his knee, and it pumps cold air on it...I see potential uses for it in the future too..like hotflashes

We stopped by and picked up Abbie, and I'll get the other two tomorrow "after" I run some errands and buy groceries.

I'm hoping to be at chat tonight..it depends on how bad he's hurting and how demanding he is.

He's doing wonderful. He's actually putting full weight on it today. Lyla tickled me when we went and got her. She wanted to know why daddy was wearing stockings. He's having to use a walker to get around, and she told him that he walked like grandma...I LOVE IT!

LOL! sounds like life is back to normal? Just remember not to tease him too much because then he won't share the cold pump when you have your hotflashes.

Hey! Hot Flashes and all words associated therewith are NOT to be mentioned in nice company!!! Shame on you Lylac!!!

And, I'm glad all are home safe and sound. I think your DH is terrific and I am proud of him for getting his knee taken care of. Hope his recovery continues to go well, then he'll be ready and rarin' to go when ICPC is done!
