missw005, my heart goes out to you. Someday, you will look back on this and be grateful for God's perfect timing. I know this because I went through almost 20 years of infertility before giving birth to my one and only biological child. That was a lot of years of asking WHY WHY WHY, when I love children so much. But now, when I look back I see how perfect God's timing is. I wasn't ready, dh wasn't ready untill then. And then when we hoped to have another, then the wait after we decided to adopt. All the disappointments of matches that we hoped for that fell through.
Now, at 52, with a 12 yr old bio son, an almost 12 yr old adopted daughter and an 8 1/2 year old adopted son, I know I am right where I need to be. Life still holds disappointments (like the disruption that we are in the midst of), but I have to move on, knowing that everything is for a reason, and that even though it makes no sense, and hurts today, someday I will understand.
Hang in there. You will get there someday too.
