A sad update...

As many of you know, we parented Teeter's bio sis for 3 1/2 months this fall. She moved on to relatives and was then ru'd maybe 2 1/2 months ago. I really thought they might make it. However, she will be coming back into care on Wednesday.

Sadder still, we are not willing to take Big Sis back so she will be going to a completely new place and she is NOT an easy child to parent, so given what I know about my county her new foster home will not be her last

((((hugs)))) We've BTDT. It is so very hard to watch and grieve anew.

oh athikers, my heart goes out to you and her. I am prayerful that she will be spared further trauma, and that you will be allowed the peace of knowing that God has placed her in a good family.

What a heartbreaker. It's hard for you when you've put so much into her life, and now to know it's going to possibly be much much worse for her. Prayers for you all.

The "system" lets these kids down in so many ways. But trying to get changes made seems impossible.

In an unexpected twist, Big Sis has been placed back with her grandparents. I like these grandparents. They are not perfect, but alas, neither am I. I am so glad she is not in a foster home with strangers!!!

Ath - I am so glad to hear that she is going to her grandparents and that you think that is a good place for her. I will keep saying prayers for Big Sis!

I hope the Grandparents find that they are able to parent 'Big Sis'.
