HELP!! He's nesting and trying to work me to death!
Hubby's decided that EVERYTHING needs to be cleaned, starting with the floors to the light bulbs!
He's working me to death and oh my Lord at the stuff he's throwing out. A lil Spring cleaning is good, but this is rediculous!

Just send him to my house and get him out of your hair.
![]() I've been the same way this past month though. I even cleaned out my storage area and re-organized and I've never had any desire to do that. Hmmm...must be something in the air...

Can we get a sign up sheet set up for him to make the rounds???
![]() Just think how happy you'll be next month when everything is all spic and span and you just have absolutely nothing to do to occupy yourself. ![]()

He is welcome to come clean my house. My dh sometimes will start to clean, but he can't seem to finish anything. He will go in the laundry room and get his (and only his) clean clothes and he will fold them and stack them on the bed. Then he quits and tells me he took care of his own clothes. (that I washed and dried and since he goes to bed before me, will be on my side of the bed waiting for me to put them away) He will clean out the car by gathering trash and putting it in a bag and then leaving it in the car. Often I don't see it because it's between seats. So I drive the kids to school and as soon as we get the huge wheelchair and all six kids out, I drive home and the first corner I turn, yep all the trash comes pouring out and is all over the car. Then complains that he is the only one who ever cleans out the car. Of course when we all go somewhere and have luggage and stuff, he gets out of the car and goes in the house empty handed! I am now getting better at reminding him to help bring stuff in. I have learned that the only way to get the car unloaded is to either do it myself or assign every kid, including dh a tast specifically and tell them three times. He also loves to put trash on the counter three inches from the trash can! If I ask him to clear the table he throws everything in the biggest pan on the table (even if it still had food in it I would have saved) including paper towels and napkins and plates with food on them and toss the whole thing in the sink. We do not have a garbage disposal or a working dishwasher so I have to fish all that stuff out. I have tried having him or the boys do the dishes, but they are so disgusting when they are done I am giving up. He really is a good guy, but just no help housekeeping. So you are lucky to have one that helps with that.

Lylac, send him to our home...he'll have plenty to do!
I did the same a couple of weeks ago with the cleaning and organizing. I even touched up on some painting. I have been lazy lately, though, and really need to start on the deck. I will *probably* get that done next week...think hubby will be anywhere near here? ![]()

Tim is really good about helping. He cleans all the vehicles, takes care of the yard, helps cook and feeds the kids, he's gives them a bath..and I put their clothes on. He get's Lyla up and dresses her for school and puts her on the bus. He even changes his share of nasty diapers. He watches the kids, so I can do things, he helps wash clothes, and helps fold all clothes except the kids clothes. He says that he doesn't know how to do itty bitty clothes.
He's always doing something! Thats why I think if he's not able to go back to work after his knee replacement..he'll go nuts..Maybe he can weed eat with tweezers,, that would keep him busy ![]() I guess he's a keeper ![]()

My dh has been taking full care of EVERYTHING while I've been in bed all week...every meal, getting DD ready for school, laundry...ebay, EVERYTHING....last night he knew he'd be working late tonight (past dd's bedtime) so he made two dinners last night. One to eat last night and one ready made for me to just warm up for tonight while he's gone.
I love my husband.... And I think we've turned the attachment corner with dd.....she was hungry a few days ago and I don't really have snacks in the house, so I told her to go make herself some toast, so she did.........and then she brought me in the other piece all buttered and everything! She may not always trust me, but she loves me and she's been showing it in her actions all week!
