Is it a bad sign
When the case manager from the group home your son has been in almost a year calls to ask his level of MR?
And further, isn't sure what his diagnosis are? Yet he will be ready for release mid-summer(gee, could that be due to turning 18 late July?) They've done ZERO family therapy yet are ready for us to start longer visits to transition him home. I swear, I want to sit in on the interview process for group homes and RTC's. I'm sure "Are you an idiot?" must be on the list of questions. (My apologies to those working in group homes that really DO care about the kids)

Wow. Um, wow. Glad to know they're so on top of things.
Did you ask the case manager for his level of MR and diagnoses? Maybe that would explain things...

The case manager probably has no idea how stupid that question was. Its no wonder our kids get no real help. Sorry
