If someone tells you that because of the way a child's face looks, they can tell the child was exposed in utero what exactly would the child have been exposed to?
We know of one thing for sure our little guy was exposed to but I guess I thought only alcohol exposure would show on the child's face. We really don't know all that he was exposed to. I hope my question makes sense. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know as a nurse, Fetal Alcohol Syndrom is the only thing that is diagnosed based on facial feature changes (along with some other criteria). I know of no other substances that will consitantly cause facial feature changes.
