She is still cute, but I know what you mean, that drives me nuts. One year my daughter wore a really cute outfit, becuase it was cool she wore a poncho over it to school, it was not very cute, and of course she was wearing it in the picture! I have a friend who just skips the school pictures and does her own each year. I keep thinking about it, but never seem to have the time to take all the kids somewhere. One thing I will do is next time we do church directory pictures, I will take them somewhere while they are all dressed up and get family and individual and a group of the kids done.

Aww...once again we get to see such a cutie!!!!
Hopefully your school will adapt the newest way for school pics as my one of my kids' school does. They take the school pics on the day of the pre conferences with the teachers before school actually starts. So you have your meeting with the teacher and then you go to the gym to take the pics. Everything is done with a digital camera so you look at the computer screen and if you don't like the picture, they re-take it right there until you are satisfied.

what a cutie!!!
When I was in second grade, I just had to have my mom cut my hair the night before school pictures. When I got to school all the other girls had all these curls, and I had my straight-stick pixie. Even though the teacher combed everyone's hair (back in the days when no one worried about lice!) I had to twirl a curl on the top of my head before my picture was taken. When the pictures came back, both my teacher and my mom couldn't figure out why my hair was so messed up!Fran
