I asked the teacher if L had a diaper on when she left school. Both aides assured me she did, and I don't doubt them at all.

Once I got that confirmation, I decided NOT to take it to the principal, nor the bus driver. Instead I came home and called the juvenile officers (they are good friends of ours and VERY protective of L). They are getting the bus tape to see if there is anything on it. I also called our foster parent caseworker, she told me to CALL it in to the central office, because it would fall into adifferent division... being a school/bus issue.

So I called in and made a report. They will be investigating to see what really happened.
Hopefully the tapes weren't rewound and restarted this morning.

We may never actually find out what happened, but at least I know I tried.
Reguardless my baby was violated. And that is one thing I can't let slide by.

Hugs to you, lady. Having been through something similar myself recently, I can empathize. The offender in my situation was removed and sent to the alternative school, which I can appreciate for her sake. But the angry mom in me wanted her strung up by her toenails for hurting my kid, and would have liked to see the school hung that way as well, for permitting it to happen and taking no steps to prevent the kid from harrassing the victims until she was removed.

The school didn't even move her-the system did, because *I'm* the one that notified them and threatened to press charges if she wasn't gone immediately.

I wonder if it was something less sinister, like she got her diaper pulled most the way off by herself, then the busdriver was the one to take it from her, fold it up and place it in her bag.....

When I drove a bus all of the busses did not have cameras in them. The busses had the black boxes, but you couldn't tell which bus had the camera, neither drivers nor kids knew which bus. They would run for about a week. Of course parents or drivers could ask for a camera if they suspected something. Though some school districts always keep one in special ed busses. Usually the leave it for a week or so before reusing them.

Lylac, I don't have anything to say. I am horrified and can not stop crying for your innocent baby. I just do not understand how people can do this. It is sickening. My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray that L finds peace and you do to. I also pray that the right thing happens to the offender. I am so sorry.

The only good thing we found out is that while it was happening, L had no idea what was going on. And the rape crisis center checked her out, and there was no penetration. She still has no clue that she's been violated in anyway.

The boy is 14 and is SN's also. He has an IQ of 52, they sent him for a 30 day psyce eval. But he admitted to doing it, and at least 5 or more other days.

If I hadn' found the diaper...there's no telling how long or what might have happened. There are 5 charges just for that one day, because everytime she'd go back to her seat, he'd pull her back.
3 rape of a child, 1 rape, 1 aggravated rape. He also forced her to do oral on him.

My brain is going circles, and my heart is broken, because the one time that my baby really needed me...I couldn't be there. I know it's not my fault..but still I feel like I let her down.

We were also told that this is huge and won't just go away. And be prepared to lots of investigations.
