LOL A big headache watching everybody rush to get the big deals. Some of us did not willing get up at 3:00 am to be at work, clocked in and at the register at 4:45 am. I never ever got up that early for shopping, but I had to work the mad house today. *sigh* I think I need a nap.

Every year we woke up at 3:30am so we could be there (walmart) when it started. After years of seeing most of the stuff we got there early for was still there days later at the same price we decided to sleep in untill 6:00am.

LOL that is where I work and today we had so much stock that they extended the sale until 2:00 pm, I left before that so I don't know if it was extended more.

I went to Kohls this morning and got quite a bit of stuff for really good prices. I didn't go until about 9:00, so I missed the REALLY good deals, but nothing was worth it to me to get up that early. Wasn't as crowded as I expected.

I got up early to bet the Nintendo DS bundle from Best Buy. But, I tried online. I wasn't going anywhere there. THey kept screwing it up, so I went to walmart online and got a better bundle for a little more money. Still a great deal!

My sister got my son an MP3 for $10!

Ok, WHERE did they have leftover stuff at Walmart?! Mine was out by the time I got there at 6:20 a.m.! I thought it wasn't that big a deal to be there as soon as the doors opened, but if you want the advert specials I guess it is. At least in our little podunk store.

I did get my boys some pj's and I got the pants that were on sale that my sis asked me to pick up. And the toilet paper and laundry soap I needed. That was pretty much it. LOL

Crazy people - our new mall opened at 12:01 am... what? I couldn't believe it when I saw the news today - and it took 20 minutes for the first 20,000 people to get into the mall... no way... Apparently they had a "party-like atmosphere and coffee." The only store I went to today was the video store to get movies to watch.

We went to two Walmart in southeast Missouri.(we got everything we needed at the first one but still had the shopping bug) They both had everything that was on sale. They didn't have many toddler pj's left(sold out of T's size). By the time we left the first Walmart the last $448 LCD tv was gone. I am so glad it was gone since DH decided we NEEDED it. I do regret not getting the mega blocks. I may go tomorrow to see if they still have them (around here they always have the left over stuff on sale for days later)

Believe it or not, at the Ace Hardware store here in southern Oregon I got a 7 inch digital photo frame with speakers and a remote control that plays videos, displays photos, and plays music to yout favorite photo shows for $49.99! I am also from WA here visiting my mother and enjoyed not paying sales tax. That alone was like getting a deal!

Some stores opened at Midnight here in Las Vegas as well!

I'm not into Black Friday, but I did buy a drill bit, jiggsaw blades and some wood dowels at Lowes.

We went on our annual shopping excusrion to the Loop in Chicago. While it was crowded, we thought there were less people than in past years.

There were some really good deals, but i had T with me so I couldn't shop for the boys. (T could not keep a secret with a gun to his head!) My mom bought some wonderful First Communion gifts for my niece, who is making hers in April.

I did get some "Great Deals" on chocolate at the Macy's food court and bought T a cactus at Millenium Station. He was so stoked about the cactus that he kept asking all the way home "Will it be OK in the bag?" When we got home, he took it right to his room to put on the window sill.

Today, I may sneak out tonight and get some shopping done for M's birthday, which is next week.

My store is in Texas in a little town. We still had some of the LCD TV's left last night when I went back to get cat food. I think ours didn't get hit as hard cause we are such a small town and everybody went into a bigger town to hit their sales. I really wanted the scanner copier printer combo they had for $25.00 I am going to see if it is still there when I go to work today.

I was at Kohls at 4:00 am with my sister. We got several toys for 50% off. I got some really good deals on the Thomas the train toys. Then while I stood in the huge line at Kohls with all of our stuff my sister ran to Wal-Mart and was able to get the $10.00 lightening msqueen cars, babrie jeep, the moon sand, and then some of the pjs. Then she came back to get me and we hit Target where we got the dvds, the 5.00 playdoh sets, magna doodle, and the 10.00 thomas sets. We were done shopping by 10:00. We went home and grabbed our boys and went and had breakfast. It was so much fun and we got some really good deals. We have 5 kids all under 5 between me and my two sisters so we bought the toys for the kids. I did get a few small items for my husband. The only deal I missed that I wanted was the 30.00 bike at Kmart. But I was really surprised because they gave me a rain check so I am hoping to get one before Christmas. I am not always off the day after Thanksgiving because my comapny is open but after I had so much fun yesterday I am really hoping I am one of the lucky ones to get it off again next year.
