Progress!!!
Ok for most folks outside of Special Needs parenting, this may not be a big deal, specially when they have no clues about how hard things are for disabled kids.
And this may be a "so what" moment to them. But for the ones that do understand, you'll know why I'm so excited. I put B in his crib, laid him down, covered him up, turned his music on, said goodnights & I love you's, turned the light off and closed the door. Normally he'll squeal with the music then go to sleep in a matter of a few minutes. I kept listening for him to be quiet, but tonight he just kept on and on, getting louder and laughing. So I opened the door and turned the light on.. That lil booger was STANDING up in his bed!! I motioned for dh to come there, cuz I was affraid I'd scare him and he'd fall. Both of us were happily surprised!! B has been "almost" pulling up for awhile now, but he'd always fall to the side. So all of this to say B has mastered pulling up.. It just makes my heart jump when we see progress of any kind,,,this is a huge leap for him...and us!! I'm SO proud of my baby!
