All he had to say was "remember what we talked about today" BINGO..

So from now on, any new med or proceedure..I'm passing it on to her daddy. but umm

YAY! Isn't it funny what daddies can get accomplished?

I think it's the fact that she knows what daddy says goes, specially when he sits her down for a talk.

Not a chew my butt out kinda talk, but a gentle explanation of whats gonna happen and why she's gotta do this.

Our son is the same way. If daddy says it..it's the law. And both are daddie's babies. I hope at least J is a momma girl

Good luck with that! I have two daddy's girls. Well I thought I would make the youngest mine.. but I was out of luck. She is more attached to me (wants me to carry her, rock her etc) but you can see it in the way she looks at her daddy.

My oldest firmly believes that her daddy makes the sun go up and down and the world spin round. It crushed her when he went on his first business trip.

Thumbs up You all sound surprised...

...the sun does "go up and down" because of "daddies".

To be honest with you...many of today's problems with youth stem from "missing daddies" both mentally and physically.

Great job Lylac's hubby!

ROFL Lylac. I fuss and fuss, and get the job done...eventually. Dh says, 'Let's get this done', and it's done. What is WITH that?!

I too have daddy's girls...but I also have a mamma's boy.

Thats funny, It's the opposite with our house, she's daddy's girl, and thinks she can get away with stuff around him, but momma "brings it!" must be the momma stick crick gave me! DD doesn't hardly bother arguing with me anymore!! and doesn't even do stuff begrudgingly!

The thing is momma is always the one making her do things, and normally I have no problems. But when it's something that really is scary for her, well she gets scared & stubborn. Now daddy on the other hand never get's on to her about anything..yeah she's got him wrapped. So when he does..it's like God himself told her to do it.

Like the other day she HAD to get blood drawn and the nurse told her, now at anytime you don't want me to do this, just tell me and I'll stop.

Well first that was the wrong thing to tell her, but I was gonna just see what L would do, and sure nuff, she told the nurse she didn't want to do it. So she took the turnequette (sp) off. I told the nurse no, she's gotta have it done one way or the other.

So we held her still until she finished. You just don't give a child a choice, when it comes to something that HAS to be done....or at least I don't

Now if daddy had of been there and told her to do it..once again it would have been as if God himself told her.

When she gets to be a teen...well she's gonna walk all over daddy, but shes gotta get through ole momma first
