As the Chat Room Turns....
(I was gonna title this thread "General Chat Room" until I realized there WAS a "General Adoption Chat room")
We open this week to yours truly deciding to wait to log on until Dancing with the Stars was over. Not only did Laila Alli NOT win the competition, but I got volunteered to do chat notes, even though I was only online for 20 minutes! Everyone else, please fill in. Here's what happened in 20 minutes: Lucyjoy, who delegated chat notes to me, made it CLEAR that stumbling into chat late is frowned upon. Cpiptone discovered the pitfalls of taking a phone call and then forgetting to click on your mouse while in chat and was unceremoniously hurled out the door. Kburch suffered the first documented instance of a chat-related injury Matushka went to an attachment seminar over the weekend. Although it was a good seminar, the aftermath of the day off was not so good. LucyJoy had to pee. Demands to strike this information from chat notes were ignored. Janetleigh took her happy pills and showed up. Lucyjoy had a child steal gas from her car over the weekend. Another child introduced her to new math, where 18 months is the same as 4 years. And contrary to earlier reports, Waited2Long was NOT in fact killed by Muppets. She managed to escape their evil clutches and limp back to chat, where Matushka was waiting with bandaids.

I had a nightmare last night about waited's pink tap shoes, but not before I had a very nice dream that consisted of a bunch of muppets dancing and singing songs from popular musicals.

Waited provided great entertainment by reciting limiricks, tap dancing, using finger puppets, and singing.
Lylac showed up and headed straight for the gutter. Lucy is very excited about her yet to arrive grandson. We spent part of the night looking for little girls for her. If you have a little girl 4 or under, Lucy is interested. We have determined that now that Mike met everyone live and person he is afraid to show up for chat. The use of chocolate as therapy was highly encouraged.

Here's what I remember:
It was decided that typing with your toes can lead to ankle problems. It takes a lot of beer to get through chat, 99 bottles in fact. Special needs pets are just as interesting as special needs kids. Athikers needs a good hike and someone to help her with her kids' rooms.

I went to take care of something, when I came back BAM I was knocked out the door. And couldn't get back in, kept trying & trying. I gave up!
The entertainment was a "variety show" and definately worth the 50 cents we all chipped in. There were quite a few folks missing and we MISSED ya'll. Mike has been deemed one of the skeer'd men now. And now waited's keyboard needs some Dr. Schoals(sp?) If you wanna know why, join us in chat!

In honor of all those glorious songs sung at chat last night, I've got to sing this one for my kids who's TPR finally happened today (we all knew it would) and they are OFFICIALLY leaving Friday!
"They're leaving on a jet plane (really in a suburban), I don't know when they'll be back again...." I'm gonna miss my kids like crazy, but I'm so happy the parents got TPR'd today, I'm having trouble feeling sorry for myself (how nice!).

I just want to set the record straight...
I happened to ask Kburch if she were responsible for the chatters being suddenly booted from chat... About 2 minutes later, out I went! Unfortunately, I was not kidnapped by Muppets, I would have enjoyed being held on Sesame Street or even at the Muppets Theatre. I am pleased that my entertainment was worth the cover charge and that I inspired some pleasant dreams. (I will NOT take credit for the nightmare, for I was NOT wearing PINK tap shoes. My tap shoes are black and white.)
