I spoke to the licensing worker today before she came out. She did not hear a thing about us being bad foster parents and did not have a clue why they would not want to place children with us. She is going to make a copy of the notes from the last 2 weeks for us to give to the new agency to show that at least the licensing person has no clue what is going on.

Anyway, she came out today to investigate the alleged incident of me hitting S. Supposedly I slapped her, but she did not provide any details - day, time, etc. The AT also told them that she felt that she would do it at some piont and that she didn't believe it happened.

This should be wrapped in a week, so we will see what happens.

Great that the LW is doing that for you! Have you already looked into licensing with another agency?

We had already started the process with working to switch to DCFS a few weeks ago. I spoke to the licensing worker today and he said that he was going to come out again on the 3rd. I mailed him the application and background forms today so he can get that process going. He didn't think it would take too long to get things done, unless they have to go through the FBI again - he wasn't sure if they had to run the fingerprints through the FBI again since they were done already. If so that might take a while.

I have a pit in my stomach waiting to see what is next
